In The Solution Pool Care
Terms of Service

  1. Payment and Invoicing
  • Invoices for our monthly pool service are issued on the first of each month. These cover services rendered for that particular month and must be paid by the 28th.
  • Clients with two outstanding monthly service invoices will receive a notification. If prompt payment isn’t made after this, we will suspend our services until the outstanding balance is cleared.
  • Any invoice amount exceeding $300 should be settled within 14 days. Overdue payments on such invoices will be subject to a 10% late fee.
  1. Payment Methods and Fees
  • We regret that we cannot accept wire transfers.
  • Payments made through cash, domestic checks, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp under the “Friends and Family” option will not incur additional processing fees.
  • Payments made via Credit/Debit Cards, ACH, and payment apps under the Business or Goods and Services category will have a processing fee added.
  • There is a service charge for foreign checks.
  1. Chemical Handling
  • For the safety and security of our clients and their property, we will not leave chemicals on premises under any circumstances.
  1. Service Scheduling
  • Although we aim for consistency, your weekly service day may occasionally be adjusted due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances. While these changes might be done without notice, we strive to keep customers informed of any permanent changes.
  • We do not guarantee a specific time of day for service.
  1. Solar Covers
  • For the safety of our technicians, we will not remove or replace solar covers as they increase the risk of accidents. Please ensure your pool’s cover is removed on the service day for us to provide complete service. If you have a solar cover on a functioning roller, we may remove the cover to service the pool but will not be responsible for replacing it.
  1. Pool Area Maintenance
  • To enable us to offer the best service, please remove floats and toys from the pool when not in use. These items can obstruct our cleaning processes. If there are numerous toys and floats left in the pool, it is left to the discretion of the tech whether or not to remove them.
  • Keep the surrounding pool area clear of toys and floats to prevent any tripping hazards. If the area isn’t accessible, it could impact the quality of service rendered.
  • We will not be responsible for any toys or other items mistakenly cleared with pool debris.
  1. Access to the Pool Area
  • To ensure we can access and service your pool, please ensure lanai doors are unlocked on the day of service. If doors need to remain locked, consider installing a key-based door handle and entrusting us with a key.
  • Should we be unable to access the pool area due to locked doors and no one is available to unlock them, your pool might not receive service for that week. A return trip, if required, might come with an additional fee.
  1. Service During Fall/Winter Months
  • During the late fall and winter months, our dedicated staff might take occasional days or weeks off for vacations or other personal commitments. While this may result in the rare missed service, please be assured that maintaining your pool’s health is our top priority.
  • We will endeavor to ensure that pools remain in optimal condition and will take measures to prevent them from turning green during such weeks.
  • No refunds will be provided for weeks when services are missed due to staff vacations. Additionally, it’s worth noting that we do not charge extra for months with 5 service days compared to those with 4.
  1. Inclement Weather Policy
  • Our services may be postponed, limited, or missed due to inclement weather conditions.
  • In the case of lightning, chemical checks may be the only service provided, as our metal poles will not be used to ensure the safety of our staff.
  • Refunds will not be provided for services limited by or missed because of persistent inclement weather.
  • If, due to weather conditions, a service is missed and a return trip is required before the next scheduled service day, the return trip fee may be waived.
10. Pools with Leaks

  • If we suspect that your pool is leaking, we recommend conducting a leak detection test through a qualified company. Failure to do so may result in extra charges if chemical demand exceeds that of a typical pool.
  • In the event a leak is confirmed, please be aware that additional charges may apply until the leak is addressed and fixed. This covers the extra chemicals required to counteract the effects of dilution.
